The inaugural Australian Backgammon Federation’s Eva Bitel Online Tournament 2020 has now been completed, with the final being played on Tuesday 29th September, 2020.
The match was played between our very own Simon Ustick and Mick Dyett from the Newcastle Backgammon Club.
This was always going to be a close match, pitting the top ranked player in Australia against the fourth ranked player at the time of play.
In a very tightly fought contest to 17 points, which lasted for just over 2 hours, Mick Dyett was victorious 17 points to 14.
The Australian Backgammon Federation along with the Victorian Backgammon Association congratulates both players on their achievements in reaching the final in this prestigious event.
