Welcome to the Victorian Backgammon Association
We currently meet once a week for a low-cost ($10 plus $5 coffee/juice), yet highly competitive, double-elimination tournament with the Doubling Cube.
- Tournament match results are entered into the Australian Backgammon Federation national rating system. Track your improvement on the Australian Backgammon Federation website.
Come along on a Monday night from 6:30pm to the Victorian Backgammon Association, currently meeting at 338-340 Glenhuntly Road, Elsternwick at the Umbrella Lounge Bar and Restaurant. Tournament starts at 7:00pm sharp.

What To Expect
- Enter a tournament, play a first round match. If you win, you advance to the next round. If you lose, you enter another tournament. There is always more Backgammon to play (needs updating)
- If you’re a beginner, request a fun tutorial match against some of Australia’s best players
- Want to watch others play for a while? Go ahead. You can learn a lot this way
- Meet new people who love playing Backgammon
